In many countries aircraft that are withdrawn from use are left derelict and sometimes are slowly rotting away. Friendship 500CRF PK-TSJ (10525) also underwent this fate after Indonesia Air Transport took it out of service. The aircraft can be found in parts near the Aero Park Keramas restaurant in Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia (Eka Surya at Facebook, March 2018; via Jacques Vooren)

One of the Friendships of Expo Air, F27-500 4R-EXK (10631), is preserved in the Guruge Nature Park in Ja-ela, Sri Lanka. It has maintained the Expo Air cheatlines and now has “Guruge Air” titles painted on. (Thilanga Majula at Google Maps, March 2018; via Jacques Vooren)

Swedish F50 SE-LIR (20151) is a rare sight as it only flies between Kristianstad in Southern Sweden and Stockholm. Amapola Flyg operates the aircraft on behalf of virtual airline Sparrow Aviation. (Paul Zethof, Stockholm-Arlanda, March 28, 2018)

The conversion of Amapola Flyg F50 SE-MFD (20126) into freighter is apparently completed, as the aircraft was ferried  from Malmö to Lelystad for a repaint by Satys. (Berend Jan Floor, Lelystad, April 18, 2018)

Somalia’s Ocean Airlines has added another F50 to their fleet, namely 5Y-SMQ (20202), on lease from Skyward Express. It is used for domestic flights from Mogadishu. (Ocean Airlines at Twitter, April 11, 2018)

Silverstone’s F50 5Y-SMO (20223), that carried special titles for the Diani Beach festival, is now flying in the standard livery.

After more than 25 years the F50’s of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Air Force are still looking great. All three of them were seen active at Songshan Air Base in January. Here a picture of the 5002. (20238; Frank de Koster, Taipei, January 22, 2018)
