     Fokker F27, Fokker 50 & Fokker 60 Last update: July 17, 2017


After 18 years of storage at Ahwaz EP-IOS (10151) was transported to Coastal Museum Park at Abadan. This museum host a number of old oil industry machinery and equipment including military parts used during World War Two. The F27 was since 1960 part of the Iranian Oil Industry and operated only in Iran. (Coastal Museum Park, May 22, 2017)

Another MiniLiner F27 on the moved is I-MLGT (10379) and will be displayed outside the Museo del Volo of Avio Club Montagnana at Montagnana airport, located in Padova province. (, Bergamo/Orio al Serio, June 05, 2017)

9Q-CBL of Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation is recently re-registered as 9S-ABL (20206). Aircraft on 9S-register are re-certified as recommended by ICAO regulation. The country DRC hopes being removed from the EU Black List in the future. Previously, 9Q-aircraft were mostly self certified by the operators! (Congo-Zaïre Aviation, Kinshasa/N'Djili, July 9, 2017)

   10151 300 EP-IOS National Iranian Oil Company, fuselage seen 220517 on a flatbed trailer in NIOC c/s, named "Shiraz", being transported from Ahwaz to Coastal Museum Park at Abadan for display. Was stored at Ahwaz since 1999.
   558 FH-227B TU-TDC Air Inter Ivoire, fuselage seen broken up in various parts at Dagbé 080617 still in Air Inter c/s, minus wings and tail section.
   ? FH-227 TU-TDN Air Inter Ivoire, dismantled fuselage seen at one piece at Dagbé 080617 still in Air Inter c/s, minus wings and tail section. This registration was never reported and airframe could be former FH-277D 5N-BCC (575) as TU-TDC (558) was former 5N-BCB.
   10318 600 5Y-FMM Airgenium, Inc., became severely damaged when on short final to the runway of Garbaharey, Somalia 030617 the r/h main gear struck the top of a recently built 2 meter high perimeter wall (!) close to and across the approach path. After landing, the r/h gear collapsed and the F27 subsequently veered off the runway and came to a stop with its r/h wing broken off from the nacelle. A fire at the r/h nacelle-wing area was quickly extinguished. Airgenium, a subsidiary of Aero-Pioneer Group, performed a charter cargo flight on behalf of WFP from Dolow, Somalia (93 km north of Garbaharey) with 4 crew and 5 tons of food on-board. The crew remained unharmed.

Pre-purchase Inspection (PPI) performed 000617 by VGAS Aircraft Brokerage Services on behalf of Aero Cuahonte, S.A. de C.V., being the operator of MAYAir, S.A. Fokker 50 XA-UVU (20194).
   20153 050 G-IRJA Aircelt Ltd, registered to Koolhaas Alphen B.V. 100417. Registration G-IRJA cancelled 190617 (Reason: Destroyed). Broken up for parts at Bergamo/Orio al Serio.
   20159 050 OO-VLQ SHS Antwerp Aviation N.V., ferried Antwerp/Deurne to Saarbrücken/Ensheim 290617 (for maintenance?).
   20199 050 SX-BRV Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions B.V. (AELS), seen parked at Maastricht/Aachen 290617 in Minoan Airlines c/s without engines inside a fenced off area. Part removal now started by AELS. See also SX-BRT (20230).

   20214 050 9S-AAB 9Q-DAB Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation (CAA), re-registered as 9S-AAB 000717. Last seen as 9Q-DAB 270617.

   20276 050 9Q-CAB Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation (CAA), reportedly stored at unknown location since 2016 and is the third Fokker 50 in the fleet but no longer operational.
   20313 050 C5-MAP Tarco Air Company (Khartoum), seen in maintenance at P.T. Pelita Air Services (Pondok Cabe) 000617 in Tarco Air 'The Legend of Africa' c/s and registered as C5-MAP. Previously PK-PRA of P.T. Pacific Royale Airways.

      Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100 Last update: July 22, 2017

The first Fokker 100 registered in Cyprus is 5B-DDD (11417) and Tus Airways has started its Fokker 100 operation on June 29, 2017. (TUS Airways, Cyprus, June 2017)

After a quick change to Tus Air, former 2-ITUD became PH-AQH (11427) and will become 5B-DDE within a few days. (Johan Havelaar, Woensdrecht, July 17, 2017)

The successor of Denim Air ACMI B.V. is Air Hollandia B.V and the new company will start with PH-ABW (11493) and is considering also to take the Boeing 737.

Seen with additional "Thank you Fokker" titles this PH-KZU (11543) is also having a picture of Anthony Fokker (1890-1939) on its tail section to commemorate the last Fokker aircraft type within the KLM fleet leaving on October 28, 2017. (Maarten Visser, Amsterdam/Schiphol, June 9, 2017)
