     Fokker F27, Fokker 50 & Fokker 60 Last update: April 27, 2012


The first Fokker 50 for new operator Minoan Airlines, S.A. from Greece. SX-BRM (20207) has received the last colour details before it was ferried to Fokker Woensdrecht for additional maintenance. The first Air Astana Fokker 50 on return to the lease company is P4-IAS (20188). Air Astana ordered in total six Embraer 190 regional jets as replacement of the Dutch propjet.

PK-ECG (20254), the latest edition to the fleet of P.T. SKY Aviation, has received revised SKY colours. Really an improvement!

The last parked F27 finally left Cotswold (Kemble) on its way to Indonesia. N19XF (10632) has been sold to P.T. Asialink Cargo Express, being the third F27 freighter for them after PK-KRJ (10660) and PK-KRL (10654). Asialink is a joint venture between Indonesian company P.T. Kaltimex Lestari Makmur and Singapore based Asialink Cargo Express, Pte Ltd with its hub at Batam, Indonesia. (Graham Wasey, March 23, 2012)

   115 F-27J D-CGN 01 Köln/Bonn Fire Brigade, broken up and scrapped at Köln/Bonn 0312 (ex D-BCEA, was stored at Köln/Bonn since 1991).
   10116 100 OB-1627 Aero Condor Perú, transferred to Alas Peruanas University (Universidad Alas Peruanas) in 2009? Seen parked at Lima/Jorge Chavez (Callao) 110312 in Universidad Alas Peruanas UAP c/s. Other report, dated 150110 mentioned this F27 already painted in the colours of the University. Most likely in use by the Aeronautical Engineering department as instructional airframe.
   10261 600 D-BAKB WDL Aviation (Köln) GmbH, broken up and scrapped at Köln/Bonn 0312 including the following WDL F27s D-AELG (10338) and D-AISY (10391).
   10372 500 5Y-SRJ Sky Relief (Kenya), Ltd, suffered a nose gear collapse upon landing on an airstrip in South Sudan 150412. A substantial part of forward fuselage became damaged. No injuries reported.
   10587 200MAR D.2-03 Spanish Air Force, seen outside at Woensdrecht 060312 and 100412. At Woensdrecht since 180811.
   10615 500RF XT-AID Canguro Flights Aid Burkina Faso, seen at Ouagadougou 120312 in Canguro Air Hospital c/s.
   10632 500 PK- . . . N19XF 19th Hole, Inc., departed from Cotswold (Kemble) 230312 in basic Farnair c/s (as SXI926) via Ancona, Italy and Heraklion, Greece on delivery to P.T. Asialink Cargo Express.
   10634 500 9Q- . . . N19XG 19th Hole, Inc., departed from Cotswold (Kemble) 110212 in basic Farnair c/s. Registration cancelled 090312 upon delivery to XL Trading (DR Congo).
   20123 050 SU-YAH Air Memphis, arrived at Maastricht/Aachen 280212 (as PNW998) still in basic Palestinian Airlines c/s for maintenance. Departed from Maastricht/Aachen 150312 in same colours.
   20127 050 OO-VLO VLM Airlines N.V., will leave CityJet fleet during 2012.
   20188 050 P4-IAS Air Astana, arrived at Fokker Woensdrecht 230412 in basic Air Astana c/s on return to lessor Aircraft Financing and Trading bv.
   20199 050 SX-BRV First Prop Aviation, reportedly sold to Minoan Air as from 0612. The new start up from Crete, Greece will start with four Fokker 50s including SX-BRS (20206), SX-BRM (20207) and SX-BRT (20230). Crete was the centre of the Minoan civilization (c. 2700–1420 BC), the earliest "high culture" civilization in Europe. Note: all four a/c are currently stored at Maastricht/Aachen.
   20207 050 SX-BRM First Prop Aviation, seen at Maastricht 250412 in unfinished Minoan Air c/s. Ferried to Fokker Woensdrecht 2704012 in completed Minoan Air c/s including tail logo and named "Bella". Destined for delivery to Minoan Airlines, S.A. and the start-up is planned for June 2012.
   20213 050 5Y-VVK Blue Bird Aviation, Ltd, severely damaged after landing at Guriceel airport of Galguduud Region, Central Somalia 101111 when the a/c veered off the runway and came to a stop with the l/h main gear collapsed and nose gear broke off. The a/c arrived from Nairobi, Kenya with several tons of khat leafs (mild narcotic) on board. 4 crew not injured. Seen at Guriceel 110112 still next to the runway laying on its damaged belly and l/h wing tip resting on the ground. Reportedly written off.
   20233 050 PH-JXK Denim Air ACMI bv, seen at Maastricht/Aachen 130412 with large "blueislands" titles. Departed from Maastricht/Aachen 150412 to Guernsey on wet-lease to Blue Islands, the Channel Islands operator.
   20248 050 ST-NEX Feeder Airlines, sustained substantial damage after landing at Wau, Bahr el Ghazal State, South Sudan 290312. The first part of runway 09 was closed due to work in progress. The crew had been advised to land about halfway down the 2800 meters/9200 feet long runway. After landing at about 09:45L the a/c veered left off the runway and came to a stop with the nose gear (including nose cone) broken off and left main gear collapsed with fuselage belly and l/h wingtip resting on the ground. Reportedly the left main gear hit a deep pothole in the runway surface causing the gear failure. The a/c arrived from Juba, South Sudan as FDD360 with 50 passengers and 5 crew on-board. Reportedly 5 people had been taken to the hospital, one flight attendant broke her leg during the evacuation, 4 other occupants received minor injuries. Reportedly written off.

   20313 050 PK-PRA ET-AKR Ehtiopian Airlines, Corporation, sold to Fortran Aviation, Ltd. Arrived at Bandung/Hussein Sastranegara 070112 in white c/s. Seen inside paintshop at Bandung 230212 only partly painted in Pacific Royale c/s (pink engine nacelles and company tail logo). First aircraft for start-up company P.T. Pacific Royale Airways and is set to start during 0412 with initially two Fokker 50 (total five) and two Airbus A320 (total five).
   20328 050 PK-PRB ET-AKS Ehtiopian Airlines, Corporation, sold to Fortran Aviation, Ltd. Arrived at Bandung/Hussein Sastranegara 150312 in white c/s as PK-PRB on delivery to P.T. Pacific Royale Airways.


Reportedly operated by Air Memphis since 2010 but SU-YAH (20123) is still wearing the basic colors of previous user Palestinian Airlines unlike sistership SU-YAI (20143) which visited last year SAMCO at Maastricht in Air Memphis c/s. (Martijn Beckers, Maastricht/Aachen, March 15, 2012)

     Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100 Last update: April 23, 2012


F-GIOG (11364) in AirPanama colours is about ready for delivery to the Central American operator and will soon be flying with all Fokker airliners except for the F28 Fellowship.

Finally a first picture of UP-F1003 (11375) in Cross colours. It remains unclear what and how the link is with Caspiy. It is rumoured to be a sister company and the cabin is reportedly converted with executive seats. (Juha Ritaranta, Almaty, April 8, 2012)


Number 4 of the new batch for Network Aviation is PH-ZFX (11469) which will become VH-NHN hence the small letters "HN" on the nose gear door.

The first Fokker 100 for Caspiy became UP-F1001 (11384). Last Januari 2011 we published a picture of this Fokker 100 registered as N110MN when it was painted by The Jet Mall LLC at Fort Worth/Spinks. (Juha Ritaranta, Almaty, April 8, 2012)


The last ex-Avianca Fokker 100 HK-4444 (11458) arrived at Fokker Aircraft Services for refurbishing and delivery to Australian Network.
